Royal Holloway is one of the eight larger colleges of the University of London but is situated on a 100-acre campus at Egham in Surrey. In 1994 we will have 4800 students in 18 departments covering Humanities, Creative Arts, Sciences and Social Sciences. It is one of the five colleges where the University of London has chosen to concentrate its science teaching and research. Our students come from 60 countries in addition to all areas of the United Kingdom. 1 in 6 of our entrants is over the age of 21 which adds a further important dimension to the campus.
